- 2 wild-caught salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and pat them dry with a paper towel.In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh ginger, turmeric, and black pepper.Rub the spice and oil mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.Place a couple of lemon slices on top of each piece of fish.Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
