20-Minute Anti-Inflammatory Baked Salmon

A fast, delicious, and highly effective meal packed with Omega-3 fatty acids to lubricate stiff joints and reduce overall body inflammation.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 wild-caught salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and pat them dry with a paper towel.
    In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh ginger, turmeric, and black pepper.
    Rub the spice and oil mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
    Place a couple of lemon slices on top of each piece of fish.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
